Every one here was so nice! I have a lot of anxiety and they made me feel so comfortable and heard. Beautiful facility too! Vey clean!
Took my elderly mother, who is also a cancer patient there looking for a primary care doctor. I have 30 years of experience under my belt of dealing with medical professionals, and I don't give 5 stars easily. The place was immaculate, and we were greeted with smiles when we walked through the door.
Dr. Pillai was very kind and thorough. This is our second visit at this facility. Everyone is very kind and attentive.
I would absolutely recommend this facility and the doctors.
First timer.. Phone staff was professional, friendly and informative. PA at tge off was very pleasant, showed concern in helping me. The doctor was personable, make me feel at easy with diagnosis and treatment.
It was a very good experience. Thank You
Both The Dr. & The Receptionist Were Very Nice & Seemed To Care About What You Have To Say !
FAP is a hereditary condition causing hundreds of polyps in the colon and rectum, increasing colorectal cancer risk.
Individuals with a family history of colon polyps or colorectal cancer should undergo evaluation and genetic counseling.
Symptoms may include rectal bleeding, changes in bowel habits, abdominal pain, or iron-deficiency anemia, though many cases are asymptomatic early.
Genetic testing can confirm FAP and help determine surveillance and preventive strategies for you and your family.
Yes, early evaluation in children at risk is recommended to implement surveillance and preventive care.
Regular colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, and consultation with specialists help manage polyp growth and reduce cancer risk.
UrgentCare2Go can assess symptoms, review family history, and facilitate genetic testing referrals, though colonoscopy requires in-clinic care.
Most insurance plans cover genetic counseling and evaluation; coverage depends on medical necessity and plan details.
Management may include regular surveillance, polyp removal, and preventive surgery in high-risk individuals.
Healthy diet, exercise, and avoiding tobacco/alcohol support overall colon health but do not replace screening or genetic monitoring.
Screening should begin in childhood or adolescence based on genetic counseling recommendations.
